Anticipating the Priceless Magazine Launch!


I must confess that I've been amazed by the recent loads of request to join our facebook group(Pearls). So this is also my way of saying welcome to all our new members and thank you to everyone that has been with us up till now.r />

Who are we? Pearls is a group of women who have come together with a vision of raising women with a difference in various spheres of life. We are not perfect women rather the goal is to work towards perfection, be relevant on earth and heavenly conscious.

 What is Vertopia? Vertopia is the publishing arm of the Pearls group, and we are currently working on the launch of the first edition of our magazine (Priceless) in a few days. To be a part of the publishing team feel free to reach me and we'll keep you informed on how we work.

 What programs do we have outlined? We conduct outreaches to the less privileged from time to time as God engraces us. We are also looking to have a yearly conference where we can meet one another and spend some time together both in prayers and other activities, details coming soon.

The Vertopia team launched her debut magazine 'Priceless' on the 17th day of April, 2016. The event which was held at Eco Events Centre, Egbeda had great minds such as Pastor Dele Osunmakinde and his beautiful wife Pastor Morin Osunmakinde as well as Dr Gbenga Durojaiye amongst others in attendance. Pastor Dele is the founder of Vessels of Honour Foundation (University of Ibadan) and the senior Pastor of The Baptising Church with 5 branches in Nigeria. Pastor Dele spoke about business being a 'war' and gave some tips as to how a Christian can succeed as an Entrepreneur. Pastor Morin also spoke on submission. She spoke extensively on how a man who has not first submitted to God is not entitled to getting a woman to submit to him. FAITHFUL IS HE WHO HAS CALLED YOU (1ST THESSALONIANS:5:24). 1st Thessalonians 5:24—"The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.”

To say that God is faithful goes to the core of His character. Faithful is who He is. He keeps His word because if He did not, he would not be God! How many people do you know who do exactly what they say? This world is filled with uncertainties and is constantly changing.  Promises are made often and many are broken right after they are made. Man's promises "WILL" be broken. Yet, God remains a covenant keeping God because He is faithful. If He said it, He will do it for He is faithful. Everything that God says and does is certain. He is dependable, He does not fail, forget, falter, change or disappoint. He says what He means and does what He says. When God speaks, it comes to pass. The much anticipated WOTGK conference took place last Saturday, 18th March 2017 at the ALDC Covenant University, Ota. The event attracted hundreds of ladies from within and outside Ota. The theme of the conference was “Audience of One”. The event featured word ministrations, a panel session, dance drama, fashion show by NHN Couture amongst others. Dr Ada Sonia- A lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at the Covenant University talked about maintaining a genuine relationship with God. She also admonished the participants to understand their relationship with God and to see prayer as a constant communication with the father not just an avenue to ask for things we need. “We are the branch and God is the vine.
